Numbers
China Security currently has roughly 30,000 subscribers, which includes both our print and web subscribers. China Security is distributed in regions and countries all over the world including North America, Asia, Europe, Australia, and Latin America. More than half half of our subscribers are in the United States, however the actual distribution of the journal in the United States is much higher. We also have a large readership in China, which currently makes up the next largest readership base. Our readership in Europe, Canada and Australia is smaller, but quickly growing.

China Security readers come from a variety of professional backgrounds including government and policy, universities, research institutes and think tanks, media, NGOs, consultancy firms, as well as other private enterprises.

Growing Reputation
Now in it’s fourth year, China Security is a critical source of information on China, and has been cited in The Economist, The Wall Street Journal, Global Times, The International Herald Tribune and Sydney Morning Times. The journal has also been cited in official reports, such as the Pentagon’s Report on China’s Military Power.
