China Economic Databases

The China Economic Databases (CED) project aims to promote research and study for scholars, students, and all persons interested in China's economic development. Ten databases are available for free, with the most up-to-date information. It is a resource to read top scholarly pieces, and to connect scholars and experts.

Centre for Defence and International Security Studies

The Centre for Defence and International Security Studies is an independent not-for-profit think-tank that has contributed significantly to a broad range of defence and security debates, given assistance to government departments, armed forces and industry in both the UK and abroad. CDiSS pursues a wide range of activities other than pure academic research including commissioned commercial-in-confidence analysis, contracted research, special interest workshops and colloquia, major conferences, forecasting, defence market analysis, and strategic assessments for the armed forces, government departments, industry and commercial and financial institutions. CDiSS is based around several defence and security programmes, dedicated to European Security; Missile Threats and Responses; Nuclear Proliferation; Terrorism and Counter-insurgency; Space Policy; Aviation and Maritime Security; Defence Procurement; and Central Asian Security.

Space Security Programme

The Space Security programme at the Centre for Defence and International Security Studies is unique, being the only programme of its kind in the U.K. The aim of the Space Security programme is to provide a comprehensive information resource on all space security and military space issues, and to act as a catalyst for informed debate. The Space Security programme organizes various events where leading figures from government, industry and academia are able to meet and exchange ideas.

China Policy Institute

The China Policy Institute (CPI) is a think tank set up in 2004 to analyse key policy challenges faced by China in its rapid development. Working with other research centres around the world and with Chinese partners, we produce in-depth analysis on selected topics to help expand the knowledge and understanding of contemporary China in Britain, Europe and worldwide, to help build a more informed dialogue between China and the West, and to help guide government and business strategies. CPI is based at the School of Contemporary Chinese Studies at The University of Nottingham (UK) and acts as the research institute for the School, which is one of the largest teaching and research institutes focused on contemporary China in the UK.

Chinadialogue is an independent, non-profit organization based in London and Beijing. They aim to deepen an international understanding of critical enviornmental issues facing China today. By establishing the world's first filly bilingual website devoted to the environment, they aim to promote direct dialogue and search for solutions to the world's shared environmental challenges.

Diplomatic Courier

The Diplomatic Courier magazine started as a quarterly magazine in fall of 2006. In fall of 2007 the Diplomatic Courier launched a Web site with news, blogs, and resources not found on the print edition. Together, the web daily edition and the print quarterly edition of the Diplomatic Courier make for fast growing dual-media subscriptions.
